A landing page for a local business that turns visits into customers

A landing page for a local business is a page focused on one action — call, message or book — that answers in seconds what you offer, where you are and why people should trust you. I build it fast on mobile, consistent with your Google Business Profile and ready for search engines, so people searching in your area find you and get in touch.

01 / THE PROBLEM

What’s happening today

Many local businesses rely only on Facebook or Instagram. That works for people who already follow you, but you don't control how your information is presented, old posts get buried and, above all, you don't show up when someone searches Google for "dentist near me" or "auto repair in [your city]". That customer, who has the need right now, ends up on your competitor's site.

Other businesses have a template site built years ago: it loads slowly on phones, doesn't clearly say what they sell or where, the phone number is an image you can't tap and the contact button is hidden at the bottom. The visitor arrives, doesn't find what they need in five seconds and goes back to the search results.

There's a detail many people miss: Google cross-checks your website with your Google Business Profile. If the name, address, phone or hours don't match, or your profile links to a page that doesn't talk about your services, you lose strength in local results. The page and the profile have to work together.

A good landing page quickly answers three questions: what you offer and to whom, why trust you (real photos, reviews, experience) and how to contact you with one tap. Everything else is secondary. And it has to be measured: if you don't know how many visits turn into a call or message, you don't know whether the page works.

02 / APPROACH

How I’d solve it

  1. 01

    Message, offer and main action

We define what you offer, to whom, in which area and which action you want visitors to take: call, text, book or request a quote. The whole structure is built around that action, with the button visible from the first screen on mobile.

  2. 02

    Fast and mobile-first

I build with Next.js, optimized images and performance best practices, because most local visits come from phones, sometimes on weak signal. A page that loads in one or two seconds converts better than one that takes six.

  3. 03

Ready for Google and consistent with your profile

Clear titles and descriptions, local business structured data (name, address, hours, service area), content that answers what your customers search for, and the same details as your Google Business Profile. I help you link the profile to the right page.

  4. 04

    Trust built on real proof

Real photos of your place and work, verifiable reviews, experience and answers to common questions. I don't use invented testimonials or stock photos that say the same thing as every other site.

  5. 05

    Measurable contact

Call, text or form buttons with basic tracking: how many visits came in, from where and how many tapped a contact button. With Google Search Console you also see which searches show you on Google.

03 / EXAMPLE

Example: a page for a dental practice

  1. A header with the main service, the neighborhood and a call or text button visible without scrolling.
  2. A treatments section with clear descriptions and, if you choose to publish them, reference prices.
  3. Real photos of the office and team, optimized to load fast.
  4. Reviews from your Google profile and answers to common questions (emergencies, insurance and payment, parking).
  5. Map, hours and address identical to your Google Business Profile.
  6. A short form or text button, with every contact logged along with its source page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a landing page for a local business cost?

It depends on the number of sections, whether content and photos already exist or need to be prepared, integrations (form, messaging, booking) and whether you need more than one language. There are also recurring costs for the domain and hosting, which are usually low for a page like this. With that information I give you a fixed price; my blog also has a guide on website costs.

Do I need a landing page if I already have a Google Business Profile?

They complement each other. The profile gets you onto Google Maps and the local pack; the page gives Google and customers the full information about your services, reinforces your local relevance and converts better than a profile with a few photos. Ideally, the profile links to a page that talks about exactly what you offer.

How long until it shows up on Google?

Google can take anywhere from days to a few weeks to index a new page, and ranking for competitive searches takes longer depending on your area and industry. I set up Search Console to submit the page and measure real results. No ranking can be promised; what I deliver is a correct technical foundation.

Landing page or full website?

If you offer one or a few services and want people to contact you, a well-built landing page is usually enough and faster to launch. If you have many different services, several locations or want to publish content, a multi-page site makes more sense. My blog explains the difference in more detail.

Can I edit the content myself?

An editing panel can be included if you'll update often, for example promotions or prices. If changes are occasional, it's usually simpler and cheaper to request them as maintenance, and the page stays faster.
